Greetings on the Constitution Day

1 min read

Today is one of the most important days for Ukraine – Constitution Day. It is the only public holiday enshrined in the Constitution itself:

Article 161. The day of adoption of the Constitution of Ukraine is a national holiday – the Day of the Constitution of Ukraine.”

We would like to congratulate all Ukrainians on this day. The words of greetings of the speaker and vice-speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine come in handy:

The Constitution is a compass for Ukraine. It put the single vision of our way toward the European and Euro-Atlantic course. It shows us the direction and helps us stay on track.

Ruslan Stefanchuk, Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine

Together with the international community, we will bring to justice the inevitable responsibility of all russian war criminals, rebuild Ukraine and make it better than ever.

Olena Kondratiuk, Vice-Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine

Unfortunately, there’s still a war going on now. Today is the 125th day since Russia savagely crossed our borders in tanks and started killing civilians in an attempt to seize our land. However, let us remind you something:

Land is the main national wealth. Its subsoil, air, water and other natural resources of its territory, continental shelf and sea zone are the property of the Ukrainian people. We will fight for every meter of our land to the last breath.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine

The Constitution of Ukraine, our main document, says the following:

Article 17. To protect the sovereignty and territorial indivisibility of Ukraine, and to ensure its economic and informational security are the most important functions of the State and a matter of concern for all the Ukrainian people. The defense of Ukraine, the protection of its sovereignty, territorial indivisibility and inviolability, are entrusted to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.”

And we are glad to do so. We stand for our land – for TERRA. And we will do this until the occupier leaves the territory of Ukraine, until victory is ours.
